CLEP Credits at D'Youville College

D'Youville College, now known as D'Youville University, is a private Catholic institution in Buffalo, New York. It was founded by the Grey Nuns and has long been associated with health professions education and service-oriented learning. The campus is located on Buffalo's West Side, near the city's medical and cultural districts.

The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs with a strong emphasis on health sciences, nursing, pharmacy, and related fields. It also provides programs in the liberal arts, business, education, and other areas. D'Youville is especially known for preparing students for careers in healthcare and other service professions.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, students should rely on D'Youville's official transfer and credit policies rather than assume broad acceptance of exam scores. Like many accredited institutions, it may evaluate prior learning, transfer coursework, and standardized exam credit on a case-by-case basis. Students should confirm whether a specific CLEP exam or other credit-by-exam option applies to their intended program.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on D'Youville University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. D'Youville College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
