Its professional schools and online offerings are part of its broader academic profile.

Faulkner accepts transfer credit and participates in credit-by-exam pathways, including CLEP, subject to institutional policies. As with most universities, the amount of credit awarded depends on the exam, the score earned, the student’s program, and how the credit fits degree requirements. Students should confirm current equivalencies and limits with the university before relying on exam credit for graduation planning.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Faulkner University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Faulkner University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
