CLEP Credits at Graceland University

Graceland University is a private university in Lamoni, Iowa, with additional academic presence in Independence, Missouri. It is affiliated with the Community of Christ and serves students through undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. The university’s main campus is in south-central Iowa.

Graceland offers a range of academic programs across the liberal arts, sciences, business, education, nursing, and other professional fields. It is known for combining classroom study with practical learning experiences and for serving both traditional and adult learners. The university also fields intercollegiate athletics as the Yellowjackets.

For students considering CLEP or other transfer credit, Graceland is the kind of institution where credit-by-exam and transfer policies are handled through official academic review rather than automatically applied. Students should expect the university to evaluate prior learning, exam scores, and transfer coursework according to its published policies and degree requirements. Because policies can vary by program, the registrar or admissions office is the best source for current guidance.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Graceland's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Graceland University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
