CLEP Exams at Johnson University

Johnson University is a private Christian university in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is part of the Johnson University system, which serves students through a main campus in Tennessee and additional locations. The university emphasizes faith-based higher education in a small-campus setting.

The university offers undergraduate and graduate study in areas such as ministry, Bible and theology, business, education, counseling, and related fields. Its academic identity is strongly shaped by Christian ministry preparation and practical service-oriented learning. Because program offerings can change, prospective students should confirm current majors and degree options directly with the university.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, Johnson University is the kind of institution that typically evaluates prior learning through its registrar and academic departments rather than applying a single universal rule to every course. Credit-by-exam and transfer decisions usually depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and the student’s degree program. Students should expect to submit official score reports and have credits reviewed against institutional policies before they are posted.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Johnson University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Johnson University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
