CLEP Credits at Lesley University

Lesley University is a private university in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a strong presence in the Boston area. It is known for programs that connect classroom learning with professional practice and community engagement. The university also has a history rooted in teacher education and the arts.

Lesley offers undergraduate and graduate study across areas such as education, counseling and psychology, the arts, and liberal arts and sciences. It is especially recognized for preparing students for careers in teaching, mental health, and creative fields. The university emphasizes experiential learning and close faculty interaction.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Lesley University should be treated as a school that evaluates outside credit through its own academic policies rather than by a universal rule. CLEP acceptance, if available, depends on the specific exam, the student’s program, and the university’s current transfer-credit guidelines. Students should confirm applicability with the university before relying on exam credit.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Lesley's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Lesley University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
