CLEP Exams at Neumann University

Neumann University is a private Catholic university in Aston, Pennsylvania, in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. It was founded by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia and is rooted in the Franciscan tradition. The university serves undergraduate and graduate students in a suburban campus setting.

Neumann offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs across areas such as the liberal arts, business, education, nursing, and health-related fields. The university is known for its small-campus environment and for emphasizing service, ethics, and experiential learning. Its academic offerings are designed to support both traditional students and working adults.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Neumann University is a regionally accredited institution, which is the key baseline for evaluating credit transfer and credit-by-exam policies. Students should expect credit acceptance to depend on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree program requirements. Because policies can change, the most reliable source is the university’s current transfer-credit or registrar guidance.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Neumann University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Neumann University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
