CLEP Exams at North Central College

North Central College is a private liberal arts college in Naperville, Illinois, in the western suburbs of Chicago. It offers undergraduate and graduate study in a campus-based setting and is known for combining liberal arts education with professional preparation.

The college offers a broad range of majors and pre-professional pathways across the arts, sciences, business, education, and related fields. North Central is also known for experiential learning opportunities, including internships, research, and community engagement, which are common strengths of liberal arts colleges.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, North Central College should be treated as a college that evaluates prior learning through its own academic policies rather than as a school with universally fixed exam-credit rules. Credit awarded for CLEP, transfer coursework, or other prior learning is typically subject to institutional review, course equivalency, and degree-program requirements. Students should confirm current policies directly with the college before relying on exam credit for degree planning.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on North Central's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. North Central College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
