CLEP Exams at Quinnipiac University

Quinnipiac University is a private university in Hamden, Connecticut, with additional academic and clinical presence in the greater New Haven area. It is known for a suburban main campus setting and for serving students through a mix of undergraduate, graduate, and professional education.

The university offers a broad range of programs across its schools and colleges, including business, communications, health sciences, nursing, law, education, and the arts and sciences. Quinnipiac is especially well known for professional preparation in health-related fields, journalism and communications, and law.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Quinnipiac is a private institution that evaluates prior college-level learning through its own academic policies. Students considering CLEP or other transfer credit should consult Quinnipiac's official transfer and registrar guidance, since acceptance depends on the specific exam, course equivalency, and degree program.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Quinnipiac's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Quinnipiac University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
