CLEP Exams at Saint Mary of the Woods College

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is a private Catholic college in Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, near Terre Haute. It was founded by the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and is known for its historic campus and mission-centered education.

The college offers undergraduate and graduate study in a range of fields, with programs delivered in both traditional and online formats. Its academic profile includes liberal arts, professional, and career-focused offerings, and it is especially known for serving adult learners as well as traditional students.

For CLEP and other transfer-credit questions, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College should be treated as a school that evaluates outside credit through its own academic policies rather than by a blanket rule. Students interested in using CLEP exam scores, prior college coursework, or other alternative credit should confirm current acceptance and score requirements directly with the college.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on SMWC's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
