CLEP Credits at Sterling College

Sterling College is a private Christian liberal arts college in Sterling, Kansas. It is located in south-central Kansas and serves undergraduate students in a small-college setting. The college emphasizes a faith-based educational environment.

Sterling College offers undergraduate programs across the liberal arts and professional fields. Its academic offerings include majors in areas such as business, education, the sciences, and the humanities, along with opportunities for experiential learning. The college is known for combining classroom study with a Christian perspective.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Sterling College is the kind of institution that typically evaluates prior learning through its admissions and registrar processes rather than granting automatic credit for every exam or course. Students should expect credit-by-exam and transfer decisions to depend on official evaluation of transcripts, exam scores, and degree requirements. Policies can change, so applicants should confirm current CLEP and transfer rules directly with the college.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Sterling College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Sterling College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
