Stevenson University is a private university in Stevenson, Maryland, in Baltimore County. It serves undergraduate and graduate students and is known for a career-oriented approach to higher education. The university’s main campus is in Stevenson, with additional presence in Owings Mills.

The university emphasizes experiential learning, internships, and professional preparation. It is also known for programs that connect classroom study with practical experience.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Stevenson University is the institution that evaluates whether prior learning or exam credit can apply toward a student’s degree. Policies can vary by program, major, and residency requirements, so students should consult the university’s official transfer and credit policies before relying on outside credit. CLEP acceptance is not assumed automatically and should be confirmed directly with the university.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Stevenson University's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Stevenson University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
