CLEP Exams at The Masters University

The Masters University is a private Christian university in Newhall, California, in the Santa Clarita Valley north of Los Angeles. It is known for combining a residential campus setting with a faith-based educational mission. The university serves undergraduate and graduate students in a suburban Southern California location.

The university offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs across liberal arts, sciences, business, education, and ministry-related fields. It is especially known for its Christian worldview emphasis and for integrating faith and learning across the curriculum. Academic offerings and program availability can change, so students should verify current majors and degree options directly with the university.

For CLEP and transfer credit, The Masters University should be treated as a school with its own institutional policies rather than a universal acceptance model. Credit-by-exam and transfer decisions are typically evaluated by the university on a case-by-case basis, and acceptance depends on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and degree program. Students considering CLEP or other transfer credit should confirm current policy details with the admissions or registrar office before testing.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on TMU's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. The Masters University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
