University of Management and Technology is a private university based in Arlington, Virginia, in the United States. It offers programs through a distance-learning model and serves students who are looking for flexible study options. The institution is known for its focus on career-oriented education.

Its academic model emphasizes online delivery and practical coursework. The university is often described as serving working adults and other students who need flexible scheduling.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, students should verify current policies directly with the university before enrolling or submitting scores. Institutions like UMT may evaluate prior learning, transfer coursework, and exam-based credit on a case-by-case basis. Because policies can change, the registrar or admissions office is the best source for the most current guidance.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on UMT's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. University of Management and Technology transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
