CLEP Exams at University of Saint Francis

University of Saint Francis is a private Catholic university in Joliet, Illinois. It serves students in the Chicago area and beyond through undergraduate and graduate study. The institution is associated with the Franciscan tradition and emphasizes values-based education.

The university offers a range of academic programs across liberal arts, professional, and graduate fields. Its strengths are commonly presented in terms of small classes, personalized attention, and career-oriented preparation. Because program offerings can change, prospective students should confirm current majors and degrees directly with the university.

For transfer and credit-by-exam planning, students should review the university’s current transfer credit and prior learning policies before taking CLEP or other exams. Whether a CLEP score will apply depends on the specific course equivalency, the student’s program, and the university’s academic rules. Students should also verify whether any minimum score, residency, or degree-applicability requirements apply.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on University of Saint Francis's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. University of Saint Francis transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
