CLEP Credits at University of Saint Francis

The University of Saint Francis is a private Catholic university in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration and serves students through undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. The university’s main campus is in Fort Wayne, with additional instructional presence in the region.

USF offers a range of academic programs across the arts and sciences, business, education, health professions, and other professional fields. The university is known for its Catholic and Franciscan identity, which emphasizes service, community, and values-based learning. It also provides opportunities for experiential learning and professional preparation.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, the University of Saint Francis is the kind of institution that typically evaluates prior learning through its registrar and academic departments rather than applying a single blanket rule to every course. Students seeking credit by exam or transfer credit should expect review based on the specific exam, course equivalency, and degree program. Because policies can change, the safest approach is to confirm current acceptance and applicability directly with the university.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on USF's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. University of Saint Francis transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
