CLEP Exams at Whitworth University

Whitworth University is a private Christian liberal arts university in Spokane, Washington. It is located in the Pacific Northwest and serves undergraduate and graduate students on its Spokane campus. The university is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Whitworth offers a broad range of undergraduate majors and graduate programs with a liberal arts foundation. The university is known for combining classroom learning with experiential opportunities and for emphasizing faith, service, and community engagement. Its academic offerings span the arts, sciences, business, education, and professional studies.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Whitworth evaluates prior college-level learning through its own academic policies rather than granting automatic credit for every exam or course. Students should consult Whitworth’s current transfer and credit-by-exam guidelines to see which CLEP exams, if any, are accepted and how they may apply to a specific degree program. Credit decisions can vary by department, course equivalency, and degree requirements.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Whitworth's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Whitworth University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
