CLEP Credits at Freed Hardeman University

Freed-Hardeman University is a private Christian university in Henderson, Tennessee. It is affiliated with the Churches of Christ and serves students in a residential university setting in west Tennessee. The campus is located in Henderson, a small city in Chester County.

The university offers undergraduate and graduate study across a range of academic areas, including liberal arts, business, education, Bible, and health-related fields. Freed-Hardeman is known for its Christian mission, close-knit campus environment, and emphasis on faith integrated with learning. It also offers online and graduate options in addition to traditional undergraduate programs.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, students should rely on Freed-Hardeman University’s own credit policies and course-equivalency decisions. Like many universities, it may accept some credit by examination or transfer credit, but applicability depends on the exam, score, program, and degree requirements. Prospective students should confirm how any CLEP exam would apply before taking it.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on FHU's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Freed-Hardeman University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
