CLEP Credits at Hamline University

Hamline University is a private university in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is located in the Twin Cities metropolitan area and serves undergraduate and graduate students. The university is known for its long history and urban campus setting.

Hamline offers undergraduate liberal arts and professional programs, along with graduate and professional study through its schools and colleges. The university is especially known for programs in the liberal arts, education, business, and law. It also emphasizes experiential learning and close faculty-student interaction.

For CLEP and transfer credit purposes, Hamline is a private university that evaluates prior learning through its own academic policies. Students seeking credit by exam or transfer credit should expect review based on course equivalency, program requirements, and institutional standards. Policies can vary by department and degree level, so students should consult the university's official transfer or registrar information before relying on outside credit.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Hamline's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Hamline University transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
