CLEP Credits at Long Island University C W Post

Long Island University C W Post, commonly known as LIU Post, is a private university campus of Long Island University in Greenvale, New York. It is located on Long Island’s North Shore and serves students in the greater New York metropolitan area. The campus is part of the larger LIU system.

LIU Post offers a broad range of undergraduate and graduate study options across the arts and sciences, business, education, health professions, and related fields. The campus is known for professional and career-oriented programs as well as traditional liberal arts study. Because program availability can change, prospective students should confirm current offerings directly with the university.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, LIU Post should be treated as a regionally accredited institution within the Long Island University system. Students who have earned credit by exam or at another college may be able to apply those credits toward degree requirements, subject to university policy and academic review. Acceptance of CLEP or transfer credit is not automatic and depends on the specific exam, score, course equivalency, and program of study.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on LIU Post's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Long Island University C W Post transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
