CLEP Exams at Menlo College

Menlo College is a private college in Atherton, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is located in a suburban setting on the Peninsula, near major technology and business centers. The college focuses on undergraduate education.

Menlo College offers business-centered undergraduate study along with programs in related areas such as psychology and liberal arts. The school is known for its emphasis on practical learning, small-college environment, and preparation for careers and graduate study. Its location near Silicon Valley supports internship and professional networking opportunities.

For CLEP and transfer-credit purposes, Menlo College students should rely on the college’s official transfer and credit policies rather than assuming broad acceptance of exam credit. CLEP credit acceptance can vary by institution, by exam, and by score, and it may depend on the student’s program of study. Prospective students should confirm current policies directly with Menlo College before taking an exam for credit.

Students may also have options involving CLEP®, DSST, AP, ACE, or NCCRS credits, depending on Menlo College's current policies. Not every alternative credit source is automatically accepted, so verify eligibility before completing a course or exam.

Approved credits may count toward general education, major requirements, electives, or other degree requirements depending on the evaluation. Menlo College transfer credits should therefore be reviewed against the specific degree program.
